Lauren & Nick | Buffalo Wedding Photography | St. Louis, Downtown, Kotecki’s

One month ago today, Lauren & Nick became husband & wife, and we were lucky enough to have been chosen to capture it! They were married at St Louis Cathedral, one of the most gorgeous churches in Buffalo, and wanted photos around downtown, so we were gifted so many lovely backdrops 🙂 Even though it was blistery and cold, they, along with their bridal party, toughed it out for some great shots! We hit Shea’s, which has special meaning to them, and they are both in the Navy, so of course a stop in front of the USS Sullivans was a must. After we wrapped up outside, we headed over to Kotecki’s in West Seneca for a big, fabulous party, full of beautiful and heartwarming moments. This day was so special and we were so happy to have been a part of it!

I love this shot, of Lauren and her mother’s hands, with each of their wedding rings, and Lauren’s grandmother’s and great grandmother’s.

Steve captured this great shot of Nick before the ceremony; I love it!

There’s a lot more shots of the processional then usual in this blog post, but between the stunning long aisle, Mom tearing up, the excited groomsmen and this shot of Dad giving his final blessing (/warning haha), how I could resist!?

Once we got to Kotecki’s and warmed up, we got to see all of the cute reception ideas Lauren & Nick had! I especially loved the Polaroid camera guest book idea!

Just loved Lauren’s elegant flowers from one of our favorite florists, William’s!

The reception was packed full of fun, including a butterknife introduction! hahaha

One of the most beautiful moments of the day was when Lauren surprised Nick with a song, which she learned just for their wedding day. He was shocked and the room was full of tears and cheers. So lovely!

Shot through the lit trees outside of the reception, I thought this was a perfect way to end the night. I love this quiet moment between Lauren & Nick, while their party carried on in the next room. L&N, We had so much fun being a part of your day; thank you for having us!!
