We kicked off our 2017 season last month with Sonia & Alex, and man, has the bar been set high for the year!! When I first met S&A, I loved their laid-back, fun-loving attitudes, and knew they were planning something great together. This wedding was a total party from start to finish, and the rainy weather didn’t matter one bit. We started the day at The Buffalo Club for prep. Once everyone was ready, we strolled right across the street to Trinity Church for a beautiful ceremony, followed by one of our favorite grand exits to-date (S&A armed their bridal party with bubble guns and colorful silk parasols; it was a photographer’s dream!) After a whirldwind round of bridal party photos, we headed inside The Buffalo Club for an action-packed reception! There was a band with sitar player for cocktails, a DJ for the dance floor, a piano player in the lounge, surprise performances, a bridal party dance-off, Bollywood movies on projection screens, jaw-dropping floral pieces by Ferncroft, endless toasts, a photobooth, an icecream sundae bar, outfit changes, hours of wild dancing, and so much more! I said it was a party, right!? I was lucky to have Steve shooting alongside, to keep up with all the action!
