One month ago, we were busy celebrating with these two! Sam & Mike had the most beautiful day for their wedding. We started with prep at The Hotel @ The Lafayette , where they chose to do a First Touch. They met in the hallway of the hotel, and took a minute to just hold hands (without seeing each other!) It was so sweet, and I love that this a such a growing trend right now! A First Look is not right for all couples, but a First Touch is a great alternative. This sneaky way of taking a little bit of time together before the start of a crazy day sure is sweet, and still saves all the surprise for the walk down the aisle.
After a beautiful ceremony at St. Mark’s, we headed to The Albright Knox and Delaware Park area for their photos. It’s so nice to when my wedding clients remain themselves on their big day. It’s so easy to get lost in the stress of it all, but not these two! They shared so sweet many moments together, cracking each other up. They were laughing all day (plus they’re gorgeous, and the light was perfect.. They made our job easy!) We could have been out there all day shooting, but we had a party to get to! Sam & Mike hosted a gorgeous reception in the Marquis Ballroom of The Hotel @ The Lafayette, complete with tear-filled speeches and wild dancing! It was one for the books; scroll down to see!
