I awaited Scott & Alicia’s day with much anticipation! I knew it would be full of happy moments, and easy-going fun, as that’s just the kind of couple they are. We had such a great time hanging with them on their wedding day 🙂 We started with prep photos at Alicia’s family home and the Marriot Harborside before heading to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church for a beautiful ceremony. There were so many sweet moments throughout their day, from the gift Alicia received from her groom, to the first look with Scott & his daughter, and many more, pictured below. Check out more of their story as you scroll below! And be sure to get to the end to view their video sneak peek by Filmwell Studios!
Alicia shared how important this home was to her, so we thought it would make for the perfect background for her dress shot.
Scott gifted her a hand-drawn print of her wedding dress! How cool is that?
Alicia’s grandmother recently passed away, and that green dress in the background was her favorite. She wore it to all of the big family events and celebrations, so they wanted to have it on display as she got into her wedding dress. I loved having it in the background of all of these images 🙂
From her father, to her bridesmaids, there were some seriously cute reactions to seeing Alicia in her wedding dress for the first time!
Meanwhile, the boys prepped at the Marriott, doing the usual groomsmen things (I love the shot Colin grabbed of the beer-can-balance haha)
Scott’s first look with his daughter Julia was the sweetest!
Before Alicia’s dad walked her down the aisle, he had a reader recite a poem about their relationship. They stood in the back of the church while she read it, and tears were flowing! It was so, so beautiful.
After their ceremony, we headed downtown for photos around the Theater District before heading to Kloc’s for their party!
We ended our night with S&A out on the terrace for a few magical shots 🙂 Thank you both for being so wonderful! We loved being able to capture your story!
