06.30 | Last day of June, soaking in country air at my favorite place 😍 It’s wonderful to reflect on how this practice brought me back to the basics… I haven’t created non-client/non-iPhone photos in so long. It was a joy to slow down + *play* with color, composition + creating, without an end goal in mind. As a true portrait photographer, it was a challenge at first to find inspiration in non-human subjects - YOUR energy is such a big part of my work! This practice has retrained my brain + I find myself pausing to enjoy little vignettes wherever I go now 🤩 It’s a gift to see the world so beautifully + perhaps, you’ll try this too? ♥️
