Buffalo Wedding Photography | Erika & Chris | St Louis, Albright-Knox, Delaware Park, Marcy Casino

Even though it was dark and rainy, we had the most lovely time with Erika & Chris on their wedding day! We met them at the new Marriot downtown for prep, before heading over to one of Buffalo’s most stunning cathedrals for their ceremony. St Louis RC Church was warm and inviting, and a perfect setting for their wedding. Afterwards, we headed over to the Albright-Knox for their bridal party portraits. Moments after we arrived, the skies opened up & showered everyone in cold October rain! We huddled up top & shot underneath the portico, but E, C & their friends were so full of energy and joy that the weather didn’t matter one bit. I kept asking if they were ok to keep shooting, and Chris said “Yeah, remember our engagement session? We got this.” Oh boy, do I love to hear that 🙂 So, we carried on & headed over to Delaware Park before wrapping up & going inside the Marcy Casino for their party! They had such a special reception, full of personalized moments that made the night great. I especially loved seeing Erika’s grandparents incorporated into the evening so much, with their very own anniversary cake to cut, and a sweet dance shared between the bride & her grandfather. The night carried on with wild dancing & ended with a fun sparkler send-off! What a great day; we loved being a part of it! XOXO
