One month ago today, I celebrated Suzanne & Allen’s wedding day with them <3 You’ll notice this wedding was unlike most of what we do; there was no getting-ready, no first look, no bridal party. It was small, simple, and oh-so-sweet. Because we had a shorter time together than usual, we planned our hours carefully to maximize their wedding photography. We meet at Gallagher Pier to start shooting their portraits, before heading over to Ohio Street area and ending downtown. It was windy, dark, and gloomy, with spots of sunlight. They were troopers & smiled through the entire session! When it was almost time for their ceremony, we headed over to Acqua to meet their families and grab portraits with Suzanne’s children first before embarking on a chilly but lovely wedding! The wind howled throughout their ceremony on the back deck of Acqua and the clouds rolled over the Niagara River behind them, which added to the beauty of the day. They took special care in making sure the ceremony was personalized, with adorable poems, thoughtful readings, and a very touching sand ceremony including S, A & all three kids, which was such a sweet way to honor this blended family. Afterwards, we headed inside for dancing and toasts, before ending our time with a Chinese lantern presentation. It was such a wonderful day, and I was so happy to be a part of it!
