Do you remember Brendan & Caitlin’s adorable winter e-sesh last year? Well, it was finally time to celebrate their big day, and we loved kicking off our first wedding of 2018 with them! Those chose a St Patrick’s day wedding, and you better believe I was wearing my green! When I first received an email from them, I felt an instant connection, because my husband & I were wed on the same day (we’re not a bit Irish, but rather met at the parade and have loved the holiday and March weddings ever since). After meeting B&C in person, I was even more excited to be considered as their wedding photographer. They are such warm and wonderful people, who get extra bonus points for having the cutest pup, Clover ❤

I knew their day would be elegant, exciting, and FUN, and they certainly lived up to the hype. The girls prepped at The Hotel at The Lafayette with Lox Salon and Makeup Buffalo as their glam squad, while the boys relaxed at home (this is the way things usually go). We meet at Christ the King Chapel at Canisius College for their sweet ceremony. If you have not had the pleasure of attending a wedding led by this priest, you’re missing out! Everyone was smiling, laughing, and sharing in their love the entire time.

Afterwards, we headed to Ellicott Square Building and City Hall for portraits, before their beautiful reception in the Marquis & Crystal Ballrooms of the Lafayette. They had everything perfectly prepped for a St Patrick’s wedding, including a Guinness toast, clovers in the centerpieces, green uplighting, and plenty of wild dancing to be had with Breakaway Band and Soundwave leading the reception.
