I was so excited when Vicky & Michael told me about their plans for a small, simple Thursday wedding. They opted to focus on their closest family and friends, and exchange a bridal party for more time together during an extended photo session! Vicky got ready at Salon Elizabeth, where she was totally pampered with her mom and sister. They were picked up in a vintage Rolls Royce and driven to the city for a First Look with Michael under a willow tree. They spent a few moments alone before heading over together to their ceremony site, at the Japanese Gardens behind the Buffalo History Museum. They exchanged sweet vows at the bottom of the steps, next to Hoyt Lake, surrounded by loved ones, and and one of Buffalo’s best backdrops. Afterwards, we took a little tour of the city for their portraits! No offense to all of my weddings with big bridal parties, but DAMN, we get so much done without a huge crew in tow 😉 We had a wonderful time just the three of us, and were able to hit so many gorgeous locations before their intimate dinner party at Bacchus Wine Bar!
